How Counselling Can Help

Therapy is a journey of self-discovery and growth. Explore these stories how counselling has provided the tools and support to navigate life's challenges.

A woman sits on the ground with a distressed expression, surrounded by dark, shadowy hands reaching towards her from all sides, symbolising feelings of anxiety or fear—a powerful reminder of the need for counselling in Faversham.

"Meet Susan*. After several panic attacks, she decided to see a counsellor to figure out what was going on. She began to wonder when and how she had become such a people-pleaser, and why saying “no” felt impossible and resulted in feelings of panick. Through counselling, Susan explored where her people-pleasing patterns began and learned to listen to her own needs. Now she can prioritise herself more often and accepts that altough it’s okay to proritie others sometimes - as long as she can return on the top of her own list."

A silhouette of a person has a cracked, black circle on their chest with a small green plant sprouting inside. A glowing yellow beam of light, symbolising Counselling in Faversham, enters through the silhouette and heads towards the plant.

"Meet David*. From the outside, it looked like he had it all - a good career, a home, a spouse, and children. But every morning felt like a battle just to get out of bed. He felt trapped in his own life, while those around him told him he had no reason to feel low because he was “lucky.” In therapy, David finally found a space free of judgment, where he could speak openly and honestly about his thoughts. There, he felt accepted and began to reconnect with himself."
